It is formerly part of a master planned development called Eastern Hills, which at the planning stages was approximately 3,400 acres.  The residential new housing market in Denver Metrois experiencing extremely high demand as the economy recovers.  The supply of vacant developed lots in the area has steadily declined  ‐ new lots were largely not built during the recession and production home builders have rapidly sought to increase their land holdings to meet the surge in new home sales.
